Metal Intoxication

與Dark Tranquillity、At The Gates(後來團員幾乎都去The Haunted)併稱The Three King的In Flames曾經得過四次瑞典葛萊美獎，而2006年獲頒Swedish Export Award瑞典輸出獎，是首次有金屬樂團獲頒這個獎項，當時的瑞典經濟部長Thomas Östros說：感謝In Flames，現在世界上的瑞典精英份子也包括金屬樂團了！
In Flames作為旋死金屬的基石之一，啟蒙眾多樂團，當中最顯著的是對metalcore新浪潮的直接影響，當中許多團如Darkest Hour、As I Lay Dying等都宣稱最大的影響是來自In Flames，還有許多旋律死金團如Insomnium、Omnium Gatherum等亦是如此。
2009年在布拉格看過In Flames，2010年他們曾來到台灣表演，2011年Sonisphere Festival被排在Mastodon後面，作為倒數第三個演出的主秀。

去年4月21日貝斯手Peter Iwers和吉他手Björn Gelotte在哥登堡的新餐廳2112開張，餐廳經營的中心理念為"品質與服務"。看到店名"2112"第一個念頭就是想到加拿大國寶樂團Rush，果真沒錯，他們正是為了向Rush的2112這張專輯致敬而把餐廳取名為2112。
找來當時一起巡迴的Trivium來當嘉賓順便打打廣告，光從Facebook的歌迷數來看，In Flames有將近八十萬人，Trivium則有超過一百萬人呢！

2012年的1月25日大弟Pat和他朋友也在加拿大Winnipeg看了In Flames + Trivium，他說他站在第一排，有和Anders拳頭碰拳頭，然後Anders有把某位歌迷的iphone拿到台上去，邊唱歌邊錄鼓手打鼓，讓我想到上次看In Flames的時候，Anders把某位歌迷的背包拿上去，把picks、鼓棒、礦泉水等等能塞的都塞進去，這就是"福袋"的由來啊！！！

1月27日In Flames的Facebook上po了一個訊息：Offday in Saskatoon, having dinner w Trivium. See you tomorrow Edmonton.
我的小弟Owen在Saskatoon，可惜In Flames沒有在那裡表演，上次閃靈加拿大巡迴也是這樣，主秀Arch Enemy跳過Saskatoon直接去Edmonton，不過我還是趕快通知他多注意在路上會不會遇到In Flames團員～

底下有捷克歌迷留言說：That was totally insane in the crowd...! I was there and i've never feel energy like i did in this concert.... It was insane..! People was like mad and they enjoyed every second of their show at maximum ;)

印象中In Flames登場的時候，台下的大夥真的很熱情，好像大家都從比較艱澀難嚼的Mastodon餘音中醒過來了:D

還有人留言說：Can u please upload the full concert somehwere ur the only one with GOOD quality worth watching :) i would even pay for it!

當然我很認真看台上的表演，只有錄了短短的幾段，要錄整個set的話要有三腳架吧＠＠"

儘管有些人認為"如果用手機or相機錄的影片可以拿來秀，那官方發行的Lve DVD是發行個屁啊？"，但是你水管上面真的就是有很多想跟你交換/交易/買賣靴腿，有一群收藏家就是喜歡這味，我就遇到好多好多這種人XD

忘記他講什麼了@@" 所以說看完之後心得要趕快寫，不然看圖說故事也不是那麼好掰的...另外我也認為看演唱會不拍個照寫個觀後感的話，記憶力再好，過了幾年一定會忘掉一些細節，當初的感動也許就這樣消逝了，不是很可惜嗎？(不覺得我這篇的心得才寫一丁點嗎...)

後來又唱了另一首新歌Where the Dead Ships Dwell，演出當天距新專輯Sounds of a Playground Fading的發行還有四天。

唱到中後段，兩側的布幕被移走，台上96盞藍燈的氣勢比起2009年看In Flames場地的6盞超弱藍燈要來的強盛多了！！！
